Macklemore x Ryan Lewis – Same Love {Live On Ellen}
If you’ve been following Macklemore & Ryan Lewis over the past few years, you know that these two dudes work as hard as anyone in music. They are legitimate D.I.Y. artists, and that’s why it is so great seeing them succeed on a national and even global level.
Yesterday Ellen DeGeneres welcomed Macklemore, Ryan Lewis, Mary Lambert and the rest of the band to perform their track “Same Love” on her show. As you may know, the song has some of the realest and most heartfelt lyrics anyone in hip-hop, let alone music, has ever recorded and performed in support of marriage equality. Of course you are always going to get people who disagree, but this is a huge step in the right direction for human rights.
