Introduction to Classical Music : Arvo Pärt
One of the genres most undefined by our generation may well be classical music, driving along with my parents as a boy i would force them to change the channel from their obsessive pop music to some more relaxing classical, but my taste at that time never left the car and i would go on to listen to such pop hits as “Baby” by Britney Spears and never really rediscovered classical music until my late teens.
Since then, i have come to explore some great classical music that will perfectly guide even the most incompatible listeners into the world of classical music.
One artist who has stood out and been a huge feature on my recent playlists is a very talented estonian composer by the name of Arvo Pärt, who i’d like to share with you today, and set you on your way to the beginning of your classical journeyso sit back, relax and enjoy.
