Brent Holloman : Vie Silhouette Project
Since literally the day his daughter Vie (short for Genevieve) was born, artist Brent Holloman decided to draw a silhouette of her profile for every week of the first year of her life. Brent was initially inspired by Matt Stevens’ Max100 Project (learn about that here), which gave him the idea to reimagine the baby’s silhouette with different objects and designs. Brent’s goal is to create 53 silhouette illustrations (which includes one from the day she was born) and publish a poster featuring them all. This is not only an extremely thoughtful project, but also one that creatively allows you to witness a child’s growth!
