Throwback Thursday : Can’t Tell Me Nothing with Zach Galifianakis

It’s so hard to keep up with all of the newest and latest items popping on the internet every second of every day. All 5 billion blogs out there do their best, but ultimately you can only post so much. We all try so hard to keep up with the new new that sometimes we forget about all of the gems of the internet that once were.
So, I’d like to welcome you to Movements and Nonsense’s Throwback Thursday, which will feature random music, art and nonsense dug up from the archives of the internet — whether it was from last year or from last decade.
The first video of Throwback Thursday is from 2007. Kanye West‘s “Can’t Tell Me Nothing” was a smash hit on the radios, and it already had a Hype Williams-directed video. Kanye called up comedian Zach Galifianakis (who at the time was just as hilarious but had yet to break through) and folk singer-songwriter Will Oldham to star in an alternate music video for the track. According to the most reliable source ever, Wikipedia, the low-budget video was filmed at Galifianakis’ farm in North Carolina. This is just classic.
