Robin Falck : Nido {Micro Cabin}
In Finland you can build a structure without a permit as long as it is in-between 96-128 sq. ft, and that’s exactly what Robin Falck did. His micro cabin Nido, Italian for “Birds Nest”, is located in the woods of Finland near a small lake. Falck completed the entire structure in 4 weeks, and was able to enjoy his cabin after a year stint in the military.
The cabin is 96 sq. ft. with a 50 sq. ft. loft where his bed and clothes are located. Downstairs is his essentially his living room, with a lounge area on the deck outside. Falck estimates that the cabin cost roughly $10,000 + man hours to finish.
