Philip Karlberg : Pointillist Photographs
Plaza Magazine hired Stockholm-based photographer Philip Karlberg to shoot some pointillist photography for their magazine. The photographs were portraits of some famous sunglass wearers in pop culture (Karl Lagerfeld, Jackie O, Lady Gaga, Johnny Depp, and John Belushi). The images were created from using pegboards and 1,200 sticks, which took roughly six days to complete. I think hat they certainly look like those people, especially when looking at them as thumbnails.
