Element Arkitekter AS‘s Northface House is a home that sits on the side of a cliff in Stavanger, Norway. The original structure was built in 1969, but was redesigned in 2008. The top story was added to bring in more light and a more contemporary design.
The architects wanted to give the home a northern look, which is why it is all wood, and give it the views that allowed the owners and guests to see the fjord.
