Movements : KONY 2012
It’s time to make Joseph Kony famous. For over 20 years, Joseph Kony has been abducting, enslaving, raping and forcing children to murder in Uganda and the surrounding African countries. For over 20 years, Kony has pretty much been able to do this without any notice from the greater international community. The KONY 2012 campaign is looking to change all of that.
KONY 2012 is a film and campaign by Invisible Children that aims to make Joseph Kony famous, not to celebrate him, but to raise support for his arrest and set a precedent for international justice.
If you have the time, please watch the video below to get more in depth information on the great injustice that Joseph Kony has been getting away with, and learn about the campaign to arrest him and end his gross crimes against the people of Africa.
