Movements and Nonsense

Grimes might have created more buzz than any artist in 2011. It would appear 2012 is going to be her breakout year. The track “Genesis” has been described by Chris over at Gorilla vs. Bear as “… a beautiful / celestial future-pop jam” and I am not going to try and describe it better than that because, well, that sounds perfect to me.

4AD Records (home of a killer artist roster including Deerhunter, Bon Iver, St. Vincent, and The National, just to name a few) has announced that her debut LP entitled “Visions” is set to drop on February 21st. Check this first track out at the link below.
