Attempting to bring a portion of the rural lifestyle to your city living, Haiko Cornelissen Architecten has created the picNYC Table! This indoor aluminum table actually grows grass, with the help of drainage stones and soil! You could even call it a Chia table if you’d like. You don’t have to, though.

This living table certaintly helps with cleanup. As the designer notes, “Suddenly, spilling water becomes a necessity instead of a problem and wine glasses need coasters not to prevent ring stains but to avoid tumbling.”

Dopeness! While this piece was designed as a concept, Haiko Cornelissen Architecten has been fielding lots of interest to sell some of these tables! In the meantime, check out the pictures below!
