The Lennings – You’re The One That I Want {Acoustic Cover}
This cover of the classic Grease song “You’re The One That I Want” seems to be a couple years old, but it recently appeared on NBC’s show Parenthood, so it has been gaining some attention as of late. The Lennings had this to say about the song:
The Lennings’ Grease cover originally started out as a simple rainy day recording and youtube video of a pot of water slowly coming to a boil. It was more or less an experiment to see if a song could actually make people put up with having to stare at a pot of boiling water…not to mention, proving that a watched pot does in fact boil.
So yeah, the stream below is accompanied by a video of water boiling in a pot, which is odd, but give the song a listen. It’s pretty damn good!
