I Can’t Make You Love Me
Bonnie Raitt released “I Can’t Make You Love Me” on October 22, 1991. Rolling Stone Magazine voted Bonnie top 50 singer of all time, and her “I Can’t Make You Love Me,” was voted amongst the top 500 songs of all time. It is amazing that only a year after I was born, Bonnie’s song is continuing to impact singers and songwriters almost twenty years later. Only a few months ago when Bon Iver released “Calgary,” he used “I Can’t Make You Love Me” as the first single from the new album. Last week, English artist Adele released her own interpretation. This song has truly been the hot committee here recently, therefore I decided to post a little something about it.
