For Those Who Don’t Know – Over The Moon
I just want to start off by saying that the Djembe in “Natural Death” just made my day. I think that the Djembe is one of the coolest instruments in the world, but that is probably because I spent a good 20 hours chillin with Rastafarians in Ghana, drumming like crazy.
Anyways, Over The Moon is one of those bands that seems to have a unique sound but is also able to completely change it and still make people listen. The song “Sterling” is a trance like, electronic/acoustic song that continues to grow throughout the song. The second song is “Natural Death” which is a nice live/acoustic/Djembe filled song that is raw and great. Both are completely different sounds and yet both are enjoyable songs.
