Guilty Pleasure- British Pop
We all have guilty pleasures that are sometimes too embarrassing to admit to friends or family. Everyone has them, which makes me feel a lot better about my own. Musically, mine are probably pretty normal, but for a guy in his twenties, it is also pretty damn embarrassing.
Female musicians are pretty easily a guilty pleasure of mine. Not just any though, but very poppy chicks like Ke$ha (Blow) and Katy Perry (Firework). I must admit though, American pop annoys the shit out of me, so I have turned to Brits for help.
British Pop catches my ear for some reason, maybe the accent, maybe the electronic beats, the bad teeth, who knows what it is but I’d probably marry any British Female popstar. Ellie Goulding, Marina(Marina & The Diamonds), Adele, La Roux, Leona Lewis, Lily Allen, Amy Winehouse, and the list would go on and on.
